This Art Complex is located in the city of Chengdu, China with various functions – exhibitions, workshops, events, public zones public areas and more. The geometry of the complex consists of several long curved strips /the main building/, surrounded by several elliptical shapes /secondary buildings/. In this design concept, we added some local historical elements and drew a connection with the culture, the past and the future of China and the city of Chengdu. Behind the design of this building are implemented many coded ideas and historical facts. A lot of symbolism is added in the design – such as the Chinese flag, the Silk Road, the city of Pandas, Cai Lun – the Chinese, who invented paper and the modern image of traditional Chinese roofs.
