This is a skyscraper project located in one of the most famous areas in Shanghai – Pudong. The main idea is to create a landmark building in Shanghai city – “The eye of Shanghai”. The building creates an illusion of impossible “S” construction but actually it is with geometry of symbol “⼈”- /the character for “person” in Chinese language/ and at the same time it is designed in one of the most stable constructive forms. Because of its concept, people will be able to see “through” the building. The “hidden” part is made of glass that reflects the colors of the surrounding buildings and creates the expression of an impossible construction but in reality it actually is very stable. The walls of the skyscraper are made of electro chromic and colored glass which can self-clean and change its color depending on the external light.
